The All Ways Apples Festival is back this autumn

The All Ways Apples Festival 2022 returns this autumn with a jam-packed programme across the city and a day-long festival, back for the first time in two years at Devonport Guildhall.All Ways Apples (AWA) is an annual apple festival full of local food, cookery demonstrations, creative art and skill sharing. Founded in 2010 as part of Growing Resilience activities under Food Plymouth, the city’s local food partnership, the Festival has traditionally been held in Devonport in the autumn of each year and brings together a host of different community organisations, offering fun for all the family.

In 2022, the team will be holding their main Festival at Devonport Guildhall on Wednesday 26th October during the half-term holiday. In addition to this, we will be visiting different community orchards with the apple pressing trailer and making lots of apple juice!

So far this season, we have already shared some fabulous postcards featuring crab apple recipes and have picked and pressed apples everywhere from Poole Farm to Coxside and the Beacon at North Prospect and more. Here’s what’s still to come…
