Be part of Food Plymouth’s Lunch, Learn and Share event from 12-2pm on Tuesday 18th November at Sherwell United Church.
As part of Plymouth’s Social Enterprise City Fesitval 2025 with the ever-inspiring Plymouth Social Enterprise Network, you’re warmly invited to join members of the Food Plymouth core team to explore the city’s journey towards Sustainable Food Places Gold Award and enjoy some delicious seasonal soup, bread, Fairtrade tea and coffee along the way.
This drop-in session will run from 12pm through to 2pm in the Sherwell United Church Hall, North Hill, Plymouth, PL4 8ER.
Wondering what to expect?
In line with this year’s festival theme of Renewal and Inclusion, come along to:
- Meet members of the Food Plymouth core team – we’re a friendly bunch, we promise!
- Explore what being a Sustainable Food Place already means for Plymouth
- Learn about the collective impact of the Food Plymouth partnership and network across the city
- Hear about the recent Sustainable Food Places Day of Action 2025 in Westminster on Wednesday 5th November
- Share ideas about the next steps, challenges and opportunities as Plymouth sets its sight on achieving Sustainable Food Places Gold Award in 2026
I can’t make the full two hours – can I just drop in for some of the time?
Yes, absolutely! The sessions is intended to run on a drop-in basis and there will be multiple Food Plymouth team members on hand to chat to at any one time so don’t worry if you can only pop in at a certain point or have to dash off early. We do hope you’ll stay for some lunch, though! If you are definitely planning to drop in (even if you’re unsure of a time), if you could let us know by email (as below) in advance, this would help us in preparing catering accordingly.
Who can I contact with confirmation of attendance and / or any questions?
Please email Food Plymouth Coordinator Sophie Paterson at sfp@foodplymouth.org and she’ll be in touch.
