Looking for a new way to make a difference in your community through the power of co-operation, organisation and food? Check out this fantastic two year part-time job opportunity as a Co-operative Food Organiser in Plymouth!
Supported by Food Plymouth and in partnership with Plymouth City Council and Four Greens Community Trust and Wellbeing Hub, Cooperation Town is looking for a Co-operative Food Organiser to work in Plymouth neighbourhoods to set up community food co-ops on local streets and estates.
No formal education or paid organising experience is required, just a good knowledge of your local area and an interest in bringing people together to get organised and save money.
A secondment would also be considered for this role if there is a partner organisation that sees the merits of working on such a project.
The successful candidate would need to integrate with other local food initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with initiative, a determination to make a difference and who likes flexibility within their work.
