I had the pleasure of representing Food Plymouth at a Business Networking Breakfast hosted by the University of Plymouth’s Careers & Employability Service at the University’s Robert Levinsky building. This was the opening event of Plymouth Enterprise Week #PEW 2018.
Following a tasty light breakfast and valuable networking conversations, my fellow participants and myself enjoyed an insightful address by guest speaker Scott Gould, the author of The Shape of Engagement. Cleverly using the metaphor of the ampersand (the ‘&’ symbol), Scott’s inspirational message was all about the potential of human collaboration, creativity and innovation, a key part of his message being that “It’s all about people”.
This was a great start to the week. Scott’s thinking clearly aligns with the Food Plymouth’s core team’s approach to our work on your behalf. Let’s see if we can persuade Scott to share more of his philosophy with us during the coming year.
