The Thrive Plymouth Network is a great platform for connecting people from a wide range of organisations and businesses whose chief commonality is improving health and wellbeing in the City. The Network’s meetings are themed in support of the Thrive Plymouth 10 year health inequalities improvement programme. Food Plymouth joined the Network at the outset and seldom misses a meeting.

Connecting People – The Thrive Plymouth Network
The latest Network meeting took place on April 4th at the Beacon Hub in North Prospect and centred around the theme of volunteering. The event was well attended and lively and featured short presentations by a good cross-section of initiatives in the City which provide volunteering opportunities. The subsequent networking opportunities brought Food Plymouth into contact with a number of organisations and a new micro-enterprise which are highly relevant to our work as a sustainable food partnership. All very apt, given Thrive Plymouth : Food Plymouth Partnership around Thrive Plymouth Year 5 with its focus on ‘People connecting through food’!
