Lily Urbanska of Grow Stonehouse has begun her maternity leave this week and has sent a message of thanks for all of your support with the project so far: “Thank you all again, for your wonderful support. I’ve really enjoyed my time working with you all to help get Stonehouse growing! I do hope you will enjoy working with Tif Dickinson going forward and give her a warm welcome. She is really looking forward to meeting you all and getting stuck in to community gardening in Stonehouse!”
Food Plymouth’s Tess Wilmot and Ian Smith were happy to attend the 2019 Grow Stonehouse Summer Barbecue at Stonehall Flats Community Garden and Orchard. This popular and friendly annual occasion was Lily’s final public event before going on maternity leave. Tif joined Lily at the barbecue as part of the handover process. Tif is looking forward to meeting more members of the Food Plymouth core team, partnership and network when she takes part in our 17th July Partnership and Network meeting.
Here at Food Plymouth we would like to extend a very warm welcome to Tif, who Millfields Inspired have appointed to take up Lily’s role and responsibilities within Grow Stonehouse for the remainder of the project (funding comes to an end January 2020) Tif is getting in touch with all Grow Stonehouse contacts now that she is in post Left: Growing Generations – Lily Urbanska, Sue Johns and Tif Dickinson
