Baked have recently hosted a great workshop with the positive people programme, a project run by PLUSS.
The workshop was designed around the idea of ‘cupboard cooking’ food on a budget and healthy ‘junk food’
We made sweet potato and chick pea curry, flat breads and kachunba a type of Indian chutney. (Pictured)
The workshop was hosted by city college Plymouth and our 10 participants not only enjoyed the session but also left very happy with a ‘good for you’ take away dinner, enough to feed a family of 4.
Jon is also pleased to say, that following conversations with Cornwall college we will be hosting our first lot of bread baking workshops at saltash college from the end of this month starting with our ‘from the beginning’ the basics of bread on Sunday 26th May. This will be followed by our sourdough course on
Saturday 15th June and finished up with a spelt and rye, low gluten workshop on Saturday 6th July,bookings for these courses can be made through saltash college.
