I was very sad to hear the news last week that John Watson had passed away.
John has achieved so much for sustainable farming within the community and throughout his family: his children, two of whom are Guy and Ben Watson of Riverford; and John’s grandchildren who are continuing the tradition, following in his footsteps and working very hard to make Devon organic! John also supported Ermington Sustainable Saturday, providing vegetables and fruit for many years and he planted his forest garden about 8 years ago!
John was a man who made a difference in life that will continue through generations.
