As reported in edition #74 of this e-bulletin, Food Plymouth has been supporting and delivering activities around reducing the eco-footprint of the food system since 2010 and engaging in the unfolding ‘Climate Emergency – What Next?’ conversation is part of this. As all of us in the sustainable food movement know, converting such conversations into meaningful actions is vital – and is often also challenging to achieve. We are therefore delighted to be joining our Plymouth Social Enterprise Network (PSEN) colleagues in developing a systematic and informed set of responses to the Climate Emergency for social enterprises. An initial meeting at the University of Plymouth’s Sustainable Earth Institute (SEI) has led to an on-going resource gathering and action planning process. Look out for more on this significant initiative in future editions of this e-bulletin … Below: What Next? – PSEN Climate Emergency Action Planning |
