FoodSEqual Community Food Researchers panel discussion – International Women’s Day 2023 at University of Plymouth
The Community Food Research team were invited by Public Engagement, University of Plymouth to take part in a panel discussion about engagement and diversity in research. This was a great opportunity to share experiences of community research; we discussed training, our recent interactive fish research workshops in Whitleigh, and motivations for taking part in FoodSEqual and took some questions from the audience. It was a fantastic event, with inspiring presentations from other community focused initiatives in Plymouth, Nudge Community Builders and Big Sis CIC, and an honour to mark International Women’s Day in this way!
