Planning policies to restrict new takeaways in Plymouth

The Inspectors appointed to ensure sound planning policies in Plymouth have given their blessing to the provision of space for community food growing and the control of hot food takeaways. Local councils in Plymouth and South West Devon will be considering the Inspectors report in full before deciding to adopt the local plan. Substantial evidence was submitted by Food Plymouth significantly contributing to this shift in the local plan. More info
