Reviewing our local food system for a brighter future with the Tamara Landscape Partnership
Tamar Grow Local is delighted to be working with the Tamar Valley AONB team and a range of other partners across the valley and in Plymouth on a major scheme, the Tamara Landscape Partnership project. TGL were successful in winning a tender to produce a local food report, which will be developed with extensive local community input including some support from Food Plymouth during the Autumn.
The scheme aims to provide a brighter future for the Tamar Valley and its communities by making the landscape more robust and less susceptible to a range of pressures, through a programme of 12 individual, interconnected and substantial projects. The food report will form part of a major bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) and if succesful will see delivery starting in 2021.
