Members of the Food Plymouth core team and representatives of several food Plymouth partner organisations enjoyed The Clipper’s first birthday party on Friday 19th July. The Clipper is the flagship project of our partners Nudge Community Builders and recently hosted a Food Plymouth ‘takeover’ as part of Co-operatives Fortnight. The Clipper is always a friendly setting and was even more so on this social occasion. However, Nudge Community Builders’ social and economic mission around community regeneration is always near the surface and so the party featured tours of the newly refurbished social housing accommodation on floors one and two of The Clipper. Catering was provided by No Whey! and was much enjoyed by all who partook of it. The progress of The Clipper and the wider Nudge Community Builders project will continue to feature in future editions of the Food Plymouth e-bulletin.
