Fresh Street Community was delighted to be at the regular Feast of Fun event at Salvation Army during school Easter holidays. It was a great opportunity to chat to people about their fruit and vegetable habits and do some fun vegetable themed hands-on activities!
We made portraits with cut up vegetables, which were photographed and displayed on the big screen. We also did a sensory game, where children thought of some amazingly descriptive words and ideas linked to the different vegetables we hid in the bag and we got out a map and asked people to show us where they normally buy fruit and vegetables.
Fresh Street will be at the Whitleigh Big Local Community Market on Whitleigh Green this SATURDAY 13TH APRIL 11:00AM TO 2:00PM with fresh fruit and vegetables and pickles from Tamar Fresh.
