Delegates from across the Food Power Network met at Wydale Hall last weekend to learn about methods and skills for campaigning on food and poverty issues and working with the media to tell stories which can bring about change. Meeting people from Food Power Alliances across the UK, hearing about examples of successful campaigning their particular issues and shared experiences was instructive and inspiring.
The workshops offered some very practical tools and advice for framing your stories, talking to the media and talking to you MP – all of which The Food Equality Project will be putting into action for the End Hunger UK Week of Action 11th – 18th October.

More details about this to follow. In the meantime If you have an issue or story you would like to bring to the attention of your MP or the media or you like to get involved in campaigning in some other way for the End Hunger UK Week of Action please get in touch lisa.foodplymouth@gmail.com
