Food Plymouth joined up with the King’s Cross Impact Hub recently to deliver a Feeding the City Ideation workshop to aspiring food entrepreneurs and others with food and entrepreneurship experience. We were pleased to welcome people from all over the city, working with them to develop their ideas to submit for support or in some cases to simply provide further knowledge and inspiration.
As the e-bulletin was being published on Friday 25th Jan, we were supporting some of the participants in putting their applications for support together. A full update of the workshop and an overview of the initial outcomes will feature in our next e-bulletin. In the meantime, here are some reflections from some of the Food Plymouth workshop facilitators:
“It was great to see first timers and explorers at the workshop alongside those who had already started to focus their interests and energies in realising their business idea” – Andrew Shadrake
“It was so wonderful to meet and welcome new people to the workshop. It was particularly interesting was to see people we knew already from other settings, but were not aware of their interests in food” – Tess Wilmot
