Food Plymouth CIC is collaborating with the King’s Cross Impact Hub to bring a Feeding the City Ideation workshop for food sustainability to the city in mid-January. Feeding the City is a 1 year programme which supports sustainable, community-rooted, food businesses to start up. To do this, King’s Cross Impact Hub is partnering with a dozen organisations in different cities across the UK to run a number of idea-generating workshops. Over the course of the year, teams on the programme will receive 7 x 2 day business training workshops, £5500 bursaries to travel to the workshops and start their businesses, and they will be matched with food and business experts as mentors.
Food Plymouth CIC is contracting to promote and run an idea-generating workshop in the city to the benefit of the Food Plymouth partnership and network. This is a rapidly emerging and fast moving opportunity. As a result, details of the event will be only be finalised in the New Year. We will make the precise information known to you as soon as possible then. In the meantime, please make a mental note that this opportunity is coming over the horizon and kindly make it known to as many budding food business entrepreneurs as possible.
