Design Thinking for Social Enterprises Event
Food Plymouth core team members Zoe Nile and Ian Smith and Grow Stonehouse’s Lily Urbanska enjoyed Social Up’s Design Thinking innovative solutions for the sustainability of Social Enterprises workshop which was organised by Social Enterprise Mark CIC, funded through the European Union Erasmus programme and hosted at the Millfield’s Trust’s HQ Building. The innovative Design Thinking approach with its emphasis on co-creation with stakeholders and simple visual tools to engage with and solve ‘wicked challenges’ clearly has much to commend it for all of us involved in the Sustainable Food Cities movement and related fields. Food Plymouth hopes to develop its engagement with the opportunities which Design Thinking presents. We will keep you posted on progress in future editions of this e-bulletin.
